BASKETBALL IQ & INTRO TO FILM STUDY
This class introduces film study concepts and techniques to help players see development through new perspectives. Players will watch game films of themselves and their peers as well as other high school, college and pro-teams in order to make connections between on court application and the player’s learning processes.

FOOTWORK 101

FOOTWORK 101
This class is dedicated to everything feet and base. Whether its receiving multiple types of screens, attacking with the ball, cutting without the ball or playing defense in multiple scenarios, this class will teach players to move effectively depending on the circumstance of the court.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Basketball is a game of condition. This class will not only provide a path of better physical condition but it will also teach players how to maintain that physical shape. The techniques used are very basketball specific and based on the curriculum of the program are even tailored to the skill. I.E. Defense, Offensive Cutting, Post Work, and multiple other areas.

FULL COURT

FULL COURT
Learn what it means to run in correct lanes and to maintain space and patience. This class will teach players to execute simple fast break formations as secondaries that put together scoring actions players learn in Basketball IQ & Intro to Film Study. Players will also learn what it means to sprint back on defense, match up and stop fast break scoring.

POINT GUARD & LEADERSHIP

POINT GUARD & LEADERSHIP
It’s important to teach our players leadership qualities that are expected out of point guards. While not all players will become point guards, players will learn the art of effective proactive communicators as opposed to reactive players, and when to implement these attributes on their own teams. Players will learn the art of effective proactive communication as opposed to being a reactive player. Learning to listen as well as directing their peers. Players will also learn how to hold themselves accountable and how to effectively hold their peers accountable.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT
Many young athletes do not know how to move functionally. Simply moving with forward motion is hard for young athletes. This class goes through stretches, preparation movements and how to move your body with effective muscle movements. This class also teaches how important nutrition is to the well being of the athlete’s body and what an athlete puts into their body affects their performance.
